02 / About

A bit about me.

I grew up in the Czech Republic and studied air transportation and spacecraft systems engineering. After that, I spent four years in automotive R&D at Škoda / Volkswagen.

Then I bought a 27-foot sailboat in Sweden and sailed it around Atlantic Europe to the Mediterranean. I never really went back to the original career plan.

Since then I’ve spent most of my working life teaching sailing, building businesses and products, and finding practical ways to make complicated things simpler. These days I’m based in Squamish, British Columbia, with strong ties to Europe.
